Resin incense is loose incense produced from the fragrant sap of particular trees and shrubs by making an incission into the bark. The fluid collected solidifys into 'balls' or 'tears' and available in various grades, which depend on the time of harvesting. The resin is then hand-sorted for quality.
These resins can be of single origin or the incense siftings can be blended together with other resins, herbs, spices, flowers, oils and incense powders to create an herbal incense. This type of incense is burned over charcoal tablets and can be used for aromatherapy, relaxation, meditation, ceremonies and spiritual practices.
Resins are traditionally burnt on charcoal. We have a variety of charcoal sizes and quantities. View Charcoal.
