Noted as a superior aroma. A more muted, softer myrrh, you'll find an earthy, woody, mildly sweet resin.
It produces a high spiritual vibration conducive for prayer and meditation. It was also used in embalming and medicine.
The Commiphora Myrrha tree produces a resin which 'leaks' out from the bark solidifying into “tears”. It is available in various grades, which depends on the time of harvesting and what part of the tree it is taken from. The resin is then hand-sorted for quality.
