Gum Arabic is known as a sacred resin. Slightly more mild in fragrant and a brown dammar resin. It is the resin from a species of Dipterocarpaceae tree.
The Dipterocarpaceae tree produces a resin which 'leaks' out from the bark solidifying into “tears”. It is available in various grades, which depends on the time of harvesting and what part of the tree it is taken from. The resin is then hand-sorted for quality.
Also known as 'cat-eye resin'. It lifts the spirit and brings light to the darkness of the soul, combats sadness, depression and melancholy.
